Quadriga, a chariot carried by four horses, is an ancient Italian symbol of triumph. Celebrating our Italian heritage, we created a proprietary blend of Sangiovese, Primitivo, Barbera, and Dolce. With aromas of honeysuckle with hints of vanilla our unique combination opens with strawberries and blueberries, followed with spiced chocolate and floral notes.
The grapes for this delicious Bordeaux-insplred blend come from several of our most prized estate and hillside vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley. At first swirl, the wine displays aromas of black currant, black cherry and blackberry flavors. Several more minutes reveal hints of cardamom, white pepper, cumin and dired herbs. The palate has dark berry flavors along with earthy complexity and savory tones. It fimshes with notes of mocha. marzipan, fine leather and black tea. Good acidity will help this wine age beautifully for years to come.
2021 Foppiano Estate Petite Sirah$32
The 2021 Petite Sirah is a sophisticated and sumptuous example of the varietal, one of the most complex examples of Petite Sirah you will find. Blueberry and baked huckleberry lead the aromas, with a hint of white pepper, dried herbs and toasted bread. The flavors mimic the aromas with a substantial mid-pallet of blueberry, black tea, baked cherry, fruit preserves and licorice. The wine finishes with pie crust, oak spice and tannins developing into a pleasant textural polish.
Our estate-grown Semillon is a rare variety in Anderson Valley. We treat this white grape gently: hand-harvesting, fermenting with wild yeast native to our site, and then aging it in 17% new French oak barrels. The result is a beautiful, crisp white wine with a hint of barrel toast.
2019 Pedroncelli Cabernet Franc$36
Theres a bouquet of dark berries, floral notes and black pepper spice followed by Aavors of dark fruits, some minerality and bright acidity all integrating nicely. The rounded tannins frame the zesty finish and is accented by toasted oak and spicy notes.
2019 Handley Chardonnay - Anderson Valley$32
Aromas of citrus blossom, cooked apples, toast, caramel, and nutmeg. Flavors of lime, pineapple, crisp Gala apples, and toasted almonds. Soft on the entry, round and full on the mid-palate, crisp on the finish with persistent fruit. Barrel fermented and stirred on the lees through completion of fermentation. About one third of this wine went through malolactic secondary fermentation, adding complexity and mouthfeel.
